Gearbox + brake

Combination of hydraulic motor, gearbox and brake

Drives with high required torques and at the same time low output speeds can often be realized economically more favorable by a combination of hydraulic motor and one- to four-stage planetary gear. In addition, spring-applied multi-disc brakes, which are required when holding static loads, can be installed between the motor and the gear unit.

With our geared motors, continuous torques of approx. 0.3 to 540 kNm can be achieved as standard.

The power range extends from 0.3 to 160 kW. If required, higher torques and outputs can also be realized.

We distinguish between coaxial and angular gearmotors.

Motor specifications

Hydraulic motors KM 11 - RM 11

In radial piston engines, seven radially arranged pistons act on the crankshaft via a heptagonal ring with needle cage. In the KM 11 engine type, control is by means of translational movement of the control ring and gap seal to the housing. The RM 11 radial piston engine, on the other hand, has a backlash-adjusting control system. This makes the motor less sensitive to the effects of pressure and temperature and reduces leakage.

Wagon puller in mining

Our hydraulic motors are used in mining. Underground, rail-bound trolleys are pushed or pulled into or out of freight elevators by hydraulically driven trolley pullers.

With hydraulic motors of the RMX series, Düsterloh Fluidtechnik manufactures particularly robust motors that ensure reliable movement of the trolleys. Precise control of the motors is guaranteed by mounting the valve assemblies directly on our motors.
